"Standfast" galvanised plough anchors are made from steel plate with a hot dipped galvanised finish. They include a reverse recovery eye and a lead filled head.
The plough anchor is classed as a high holding power anchor and have long been favourites of cruising yachts and craft of all type. Weights are approximate.
RWB7268: 27 lbs (12 kg) - suggested boat size 9 metres
RWB7270: 35 lbs (16 kg) - suggested boat size 11 metres
RWB7271: 45 lbs (20 kg) - suggested boat size 13 metres
RWB7272: 60 lbs (27 kg) - suggested boat size 15 metres
Note: Suggested boat size for anchors is intended as a guide only for average boats in general usage in average conditions. The actual size should be selected based on intended usage and conditions. Chain should be used in the anchor warp.
